"christianslyst" was recorded over the course of 7 days
in june 2022 at a school hostel in northern germany.
being the only available instrument, an old piano in the main room provided the basis for the improvised pieces.
the audible background noise in the piano tracks paired with field recordings made in and around the facility provide a lively ambience and help tell the story of a special vacation/work trip.
"christianslyst" tries to capture the magic of this place and it‘s ever changing inhabitants.
